Tadley Gate AWE 7.40 a.m.
400 vehicles/hour

Last Tuesday morning seven of us stood at Tadley Gate for under two hours. But in that time around seven hundred vehicles entered the site. That’s at least seven hundred people saw us standing there. Did they get the message? Yes probably. Drivers are trained to read signs instantly. A very simple, polite message, repeated clearly two or three times on otherwise plain placards, probably goes straight into the mind. And it’s not a…

CND_stop_fooling_with_Trident

Ken Loach

– Ken Loach

John Hurt

".....the government has pledged to rebuild a new generation of British nuclear weapons at enormous cost and at a time when social services budgets including those for health and education are being drastically cut. Having nuclear weapons doesn't make us safer, it just brings the possibility of nuclear conflict ever closer. We need to protect this planet not put it at even more risk of destruction. We all have a voice so please use yours and join me in supporting ACTION AWE." John Hurt
