Photos from the Burghfield Disarmament Camp 2013

Campaigners from Action AWE and Trident Ploughshares established the Burghfield Disarmament Camp just outside AWE Burghfield on Sunday, 25 August at 2am and continued their peaceful protest there until 4p.m. on Saturday 7th September. The 2 weeks were spent observing the base, protesting with blockades, demonstrations and leafletting, and getting to know the local people and listen to their concerns about living near a nuclear bomb factory. The Burghfield Disarmament Camp is part of the campaign Action AWE, to raise awareness about Trident renewal and increase the pressure on MPs to commit to voting against Trident renewal.
